In reply to Mark. HI Mark I’m having the exact same problems starting about 3 years ago. I spend less than an hour a day now on both my phone and laptop and keep all devices in the car as I seem to be able to absorb EMFs while I’m sleeping even when devices are turned off. Faraday cloth has also helped me quite a lot. Because I spend so little time on the computer (no social media) it can feel very isolating since so few people seem to have this problem and doctors know nothing and really aren’t too concerned. Good luck in battling this. Happy to answer questions if I can.

We have tested two Chevrolet Equinoxes — 2019 and 2020. Both showed strong and solid readings of 350mG in the cockpit in both the driver and passenger seat. Those numbers only began to drop off in the back seat. Wow.

Could you please provide the opt-out model from Burr Ridge, IL? The link no longer works or provide the same information about opting-out. I did email ComEd to opt out, but my Village says they will shut off my water if it is not installed.

Hello, I hope you see my message! We moved into home a couple years ago and we, especially the kids, who have been so healthy prior, are sick so much! It happened in 2021 so I blamed it on pandemic and lost immunity and everything….but still???? Yesterday the electric company came and said they were putting in an new and improved smart meter. We already had a smart meter (and one on the house we left)
When he clicked it into the box, I felt a slight buzzing and tingling in my body. In the evenings now I am getting weird burning skin feeling or excessive heat feelings. My energetic husband is extremely fatigued and said he could sleep for days. I’m very worried. I spent ages on the phone because the technician said I could opt out. They do have an opt out program in my state. They told me I wasn’t eligible because my hot water heater was somehow involved with the wiring??? I said what can I do to fix it so I can have an old fashioned one. They said they don’t know if I can ever have one because the infrastructure has been upgraded to smart meters so it is probably too hard to put an analog one in for compatibility with the wiring or whatever works was.done to house prior to us moving. What is the point of an opt out? They said well, we can turn the smart meter to radio off mode.

I read tonight radio off mode is an utter joke! It makes it slightly better but you still have huge amounts of dirty electricity in your lines and your digital unit is still connected to their mesh network and maybe even these appliances like hw heater. The health problems people report are same in radio off mode. And then I have to pay for what?

Can you tell me if there is any way I can make this situation better? I’m really scared for our health and getting new and worsening symptoms since he came yesterday …I really don’t even know what to do.

When you say some states allow opt outs and you refer to smart meter vs analog
..how is that possible if they are basically saying yes you can opt out but there is no such thing as a compatible analog meter pretty much.

If I got a meter cover and shielded the back of the wall, would I need a dirty electricity filter too?

Lastly, are radio off mode pretty useless and not worth the $100/year for it. I should put the $ in shielding equipment instead?

In reply to Inger Johanne Oeydegard. My ears have been ringing and I feel dizzy many times a day. I am only a couple of streets away from the electric transfer towers too. I have a very bad time with itchy skin too which I have seen a doctor for but she has tested me for several different things. I suspect this "SMART" stuff we are being transitioned to. I am old school and refuse any "change".

I live in Denver, CO and the smart meter police have been dropping off leaflets on my door and today they caught me. When I answered the door, they were wearing the yellow Electric CO jackets but the truck they were driving was a subcontractor. I said very emphatically, “NO, I don’t want one”. We keep gate access to the old style meter inaccessible. My bill is always high and now reading about the problems that arise from the “smart” meter, FORGET IT!!!

I opted out and have to pay $15/mos, which I think is extortion but worth it. Problem is my neighbor did not opt out and his meter is approx 20 ft from my bedroom. There is very little insulation on that side of my house as well. Since it was installed I have had a multitude of problems: Headache, insomnia, tinnitus, intermittent bradycardia… What if anything can I do to reduce the effects? He will not relocate the meter. Thanks.

Bioelectric Shield also works. Have you heard of them?
